From the Preaching Minister
Wyandotte County Christian Church is here to bring glory to the one true God. This church and our lives belong to Jesus Christ first and foremost. We want you to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. During your time with our family you can expect to develop and mature as a child of God. Our congregation desires to bring un-churched people who do not know Christ into a relationship with him and his body. We want every person to know love, forgiveness, and mercy. Our Core Beliefs
- Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died for our sins and was raised from the dead. (John 3:16; 1Corinthians 15:1-8)
- The Bible is the inspired word of God, without error, and it still speaks to us today. (2Timothy 3:16; 2Peter 1:20,21)
- Every person was created in the image of God, but all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23)
- Forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available by God’s grace to those who trust Jesus Christ as Lord. (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8,9)
- Those accepting Christ should repent of sin, publicly acknowledge their faith, and be baptized into Him. (Acts 2:38; Matthew 10:32)
- Christ is the head of the Church, a body gifted by the Holy Spirit to evangelize the lost and equip the saved. (Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 4:11-16; 1Corinthians 12)
- Jesus Christ will return for his Church and reign forever as King of kings and Lord of lords. (1Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 21:3-5)
