Prayer Ministry

A group in the congregation has volunteered to pray for those that ask for prayer. The group can be contacted by phone or e-mail. If you have a prayer request please share by sending a message to the Prayer Ministry. You can also ask to be included on the e-mail list at this same address.

Missions Ministry

Our congregation supports several missions, including Christian Colleges, in order to introduce Christ to the world. The Links page has links to these missions.

Alcoholics Victorious

AV meetings are held at the Gracious Promise Foundation, 1021 Pacific, Kansas City, Ks 66102 Phone 913-342-1707. Meeting times are Tuesday 7:00 PM and Thursday 7:00 PM. Library

Our library has a wide range of reading and reference materials for personal study. Christian themed videos and novels are also available for loan. Please contact Bertha for more information.

Mission Lake Christian Camp

Our youth attend Mission Lake Christian Camp in the Spring and the Summer each year. This camp, near Horton, Kansas, is just over one hour away and provides a place for active learning about our Lord. There are camps and activities for every age. The camp's web site offers additional information on cost and location. You can also contact Jarod for more information.

Souper Bowl of Caring

On the first Sunday in February we participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring. Our financial donations during on this date, just prior to the National Football League's Super Bowl, are provided to a local charity to help those in need. Members of the church also help to serve a meal at that local charity during the month. Go to souperbowl.org for more information.

2007 Souper Bowl of Caring

We collected a total of $1002.00, which is our highest since we started in 2000. Nationwide there was a total amount collected of over $4 million.

Youth

Our Youth Group meets on Wednesday nights during Family Night. Please contact Jarod Anderson for more information.

The Youth attend events at Mission Lake Christian Camp.

Worship Ministry

The worship ministry exists to glorify God through music in our worship services and other special services. If you'd like to sing, play an instrument, perform a special, or work behind the scenes, please contact Jarod Anderson.

God's Storehouse

This is our year-round ministry to help others.

For the Christmas season in 2007, we will be helping Grace Center.
